Description

Dynamo is a 2D action platformer starring Robin as a robot with a grappling hook who strives to save her city Dynamo from an unknown threat. The game won Best 2D >Physics and was a finalist for Best Sophomore Technology and Continental Automotive Singapore Best 2D Graphics Technology. My role in this project was the lead >gameplay programmer.

As a gameplay programmer

  • Created grappling hook traversal and combat mechanics, implemented character controller and enemy AI behaviours
  • Involved in level scripting for gameplay and level set dressing.
  • Created gameplay prototypes using Unity to pitch ideas to the team early in production.
